As I am not a computer guru, after doing by myself several time the procedure, I also followed your suggested microsoft help link, the procedure illustrated in there, was the same i followed by practice, plus another couple I did not know, I followed all the different procedures, with no result, and while I am sure it worked with my previous Compaq laptop, but at the time there was not SXB and the association of the .src files worked as expected, it does not work with my actual HP laptop.

Making the association procedure once again it jumped to my attention that none of the files managed by the SX-Key Editor allow any association not the .src neither the .sxb, the SX-Key Editor does not even appear in the program association window, even after I select it in the browse button.

All the other files works well with their relate programs, with no hesitations.

At this point I cannot guess wath's the problem for this, that is not a problem, just a minor annoyance.

If something of a solution comes to your mind, let me know.
