I'll probably learn how to fiddle with gerber files, though, if nothing to learn more about them. And I'm sort of a control freak, which also helps or hurts depending on how one looks at it. :) I have made gerber layers for my existing board, and I've placed the order for the non-profit version of Eagle about two hours ago.
