well....as I found out.....the data is converting from digital to analog and out the current loop...so I said....why dont i just take it in digital format and forget all this...
 
So....being that....the data interface is SPI.  Does anyone know how far you can drive SPI and not get in too much trouble?  I know you can drive I2C 12" to 18" at lower rates.  But I couldnt find a spec per say on SPI
