I dunno about the situation in the classes you attended, but how is a teacher supposed to modify his presentation on the fly to fit the (individual) student? Sit down and edit his PP presentation? It is of course very adviseable to solicit feedback from you audience and adapt your talk accordingly, but this is necesarry limited. And you won't get individual feedback from a class of 40 students, at lesst not within the time allowed for the lesson.
