Is anyone out there making use of 30/72 pin memory modules in their pic
projects?  I'd intersted in hearing about your success/failure stories.

I have some backlit 640x480 monocrome lcd displays from old laptops laying
around and thought that it would be an interesting project to use a pic as
a driver for those, sort of like a 44780 but for a much bigger display.
