People were talking about how impressively quickly they react to bug reports and release a fixed version. But at that rate... ?!? I figured that if they create (impressively quickly) hundred releases a year, the chances that the compiler I'm using at any given point in time is having serious bugs is /very/ high -- after all, it still contains all the bugs that will be fixed in the next couple hundred releases :) Ended up with HiTech. Had to find a few bugs for them, but it's been many years since anything serious happened. The last one was an address error in a processor include file, a year ago.
