I personally think they are horribly clunky formats, though they are at least consistent for all bases. Perhaps because I primarily use C and therefore am more familiar with 1234 and 0x1234 (shame MPASM dosen't use 0bxxxxxxxx for binary). Does anyone actually use octal base? I can't remember ever writing anything that would have required it.
