Personally I'm careful to always use just 0X<xx>, 0X<xxxx>
and .<xxx>

For some reason though, just habit I guess, I use d<xxx> when
coding for Motorolas. Maybe it's something I should have a look
at and use d<xxx> for MPLAB too (no, I haven't forgotten about
radix)
