Well,... Aparently they changed the location of the PGC and PGD pins on the dsPIC. For more information on changes and differences, take a look at appendix C at the dsPIC30F6014A datasheet. Subject: [PIC] dsPIC30F6014 vs dsPIC30F6014A This was originally posted by "ELECTRON" with no TAGs Hello, why is the dsPIC30F6014 "not recommended for new designs", and one should use the dsPIC30F6014A now? What should I do with my 1000 purchased dsPIC30F6014? Are they scrap heap? I also purchased 1000 PIC18F8720 before Microchip disclosed the 4MHz bug.. all useless then.. since I needed to run them at the rated 40MHz speed. I also had undreds PIC18F252, same thing, lotsa money wasted. Now with this 3nd experience it's really too much.. goodbye Microchip!!!!!!!!! -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
