I've done more for less, but I don't have any 18f2550's lying around. Have
you looked into building one of the simple programmers? One I like is the
JDM. It misuses a serial port so it won't work with most USB serial ports,
but it's only a couple of transistors and a handful of passives. The Olimex
web site has enough details to build one:

(of course you could buy one for about $13 US)

It's not the most robust programmer available, but if you only need a couple
of chips programmed...

I'm willing to trade all of this with someone who can provide me with 1
programmed 18F2550. That's it!!!
Everything is new and unused except for the Flash. I desoldered it from an
old PCB I had lying around, so there is no guarantee it will work. Still, It
seems like a VERY good deal!
I also have the DataSheets for all the chips, in case someone wants them I
can upload them to my webpage.
