Hello I am going to be aiming a C-band sat. antenna ("dish") that operates around 4GHz. The PLL/LNB on the receiver will divide this frequency to a more usable L-band of around 750-850 MHz. The PLL/LNB is powered by 24VDC on the signal cable. There is a splitter that injects this voltage into the signal cable [75 ohm RG11]. To get to my question: I will have to hook up a 2GHz spectrum analyzer to help aim the dish. I would like to block the DC. Can I build an adapter with a small value capacitor and expect it to work? Keeping leads short and everything shielded as best I can, etc. Thanks -- Martin Klingensmith http://wwia.org/ http://nnytech.net/ -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
