I certainly hope that my comments were not taken as being critical -- they were not intended that way. I was referring primarily to little things, such as, for example, in the "Operation" part of the EasyProg User Guide, the user is told to use the command "doc pic_prog" to display the documentation file for the PIC-PROG program. This does not work, at least not on Windows XP Home. There is not documentation (as far as I can tell, and I may have missed it) for using the EasyProg with an in-circuit target (as opposed to the on-board ZIF socket), whereas there are pictures and charts for showing how to do exactly that with the Wisp628 for all the chips that it supports. I can most likely figure it out --a newbie might not be able to do so. So it just depends on how much hand-holding you want the documentation to do with inexperienced people who build the kit. The documentation is completely sufficient for experienced users -- that is beyond question. And, again, no remarks were intended to be critical. I like the EasyProg, am glad that I bought it, and am looking forward to many years of productive use.
