Does it do this word by word, or if blocks of 2**N words are blank, or starting from the last non-blank word to the end, or something else? I can kindof see the point of not checking from the last non-blank word to the end, but otherwise this seems dangerous to me since 3FFF could be valid and important data. Verification is just as much making sure bits are 1 as 0. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
