A good story is like a good wine, it gets better as it waits for the proper
occasion.  The nine finger reference allows me to finally uncork my story.

I once dated a girl who's father had two thumbs on one hand.  He could reach
into his watch pocket with them and pull out his pocket watch.

I often wonder what would have happened if I had married into that gene
pool.
