ISO standards that the 'Merkins don't follow (I hear they prefer the ANSI
stuff)?
ISTR all the usual electronics-related symbols are covered by ISO 60416 o=
r
something like that. American gear usually has the "POWER ON" text over t=
he
power switch, European stuff usually has the ISO "I in an O" symbol.
