Most every religion I've looked at has the same core beliefs, in that one should be nice to other people, live and let live, etc. Then the other stuff gets piled on, and that eminently abusable structure sucks in an abusive leader, and there you are. That's one reason I'm really liking HAI. It's about as non-abusable a structure as you could imagine.
