I wouldn't call RP a virus. If you aren't careful when you
install it (taking note of default settings and unticking
options for example) it does dial home. You can see it
trying if you have anything like Zone Alarm. I believe they
got in trouble a few years ago for being too aggressive -
ISTR it might have been in conjunction with doubleclick.
I've used RP for a long time and it's fine. The s/w that
appears to cause more trouble on the family's computers
is the likes of Gator, Kazaa and some MSN. Anything
aimed at careless tweenies and teenagers
