You may well be correct - but where do you find this facility. I have 
been using and recommending Irfanview for years and have never seen 
this. I just had an extensive look through the menus and didn't find 
it. What it does do is show you the data - but I couldn't see any way 
of automatically transferring it to the file date and time.
