I like Ubuntu Linux because it works right out of the box. It is small
(One CD to start) and big (lots of supported packages).

Bottom line:
Ubuntu has attracted programmers and users at a time when Linux powerhouses
are trying hard to build their own involved communities. Ubuntu has
drawn praise,
but some in the Debian arena object to some of the project's choices.
