In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, lawlopez wrote: Oh, I don't know. 1. The Murata resonator data sheet shows exactly two 3 pin resonators. The first one has caps. The second one does. Neither has a specified feedback resistor so I would expect there isn't one. 2. The oscillator for the ubicom SX does not document exactly what the chip is actually doing for different settings. It does document what feed back resistors and caps are needed for various resonators. My expectation is: the 4MHz resonator needs a feedback resistor. The 50 MHz resonator needs a feedback resistor and some caps. yeah, they work without that but the data sheet for the SX 28 processor says put them in. Now, in light of these comments are you still of the belief that I need extra parts ? Thank you very much. ---------- End of Message ---------- You can view the post on-line at: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=7&p=1&m=89903#m89919 Need assistance?
