This can probably be done with a power management BIOS command of some sort. It would then involve a tiny application to do it. You might try "ralph brown's interrupt list". I don't know if it has been updated for the newer BIOS interrupts/features. (The latest version I could find was version 60, dated 3 Jan 99 at: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/assembly-language/x86/general/part1/section-11.html If you can find the correct BIOS call to be used I'd be glad to cobble up the tiny DOS app to call it for you. You could also look at www.acpi.info for the advanced configuration and power interface bios calls.
