Not so sure if this helps but their forum is quite good. Bob is answering all kinds of questions there. By the way, where do you buy the KIT128 stuff in this part of the world (SouthEast Asia)? Subject: [PIC]: KIT128 fails to recognise some chips Hi, This is related only to the KIT128, in case anyone else has had the same problems that I'm having.. I bought a K128 about a month ago.. Upgraded it to the P18 firmware and am using diykit25.. It is capable of recognising + programming both the PIC16 that I have (628, 88) but it cannot recognise nor programme the PIC18s that i have (252, 2320, 4320).. I am using Win2k with the FTDI drivers.. I've measured the voltages and the 12V and 5V are 12.2V and 4.99V each.. Any ideas?? Anyone with similar experiences?? cheers.. -- with metta, Shawn Tan -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
