the second edition is still the most recent one. I'm constantly working on a new edition but so many new things came up in the meantime, like SX/B, SXSim, the PDB, etc. So I simply don't have enough time to get the new edition ready before Parallax runs out of stock with the current print. Therefore, there will be a re-print of the 2nd edition to give me some more time to get the 3rd edition out of the door.
