The college where I work has recently started buying tablet PC's from Gateway. The model I have is M275. Of the seven we ordered for our office, only one has had problems and been replaced; because of the small sample size I really can't say much about what you would see when ordering hundreds. That said, I've never used the tablet features of the computer. Though, I have tried to figure out how the stylus works. With the stylus 5mm above the screen the mouse pointer can still be moved without touching the screen. My guess is that it uses RFID as the stylus isn't magnetic. I've had good success with Dell (this is my first Gateway notebook), but save money and don't buy tablet PC's; they're just a fad. ;^) Matthew -- If the government wants us to respect the law, it should set a better example. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
