I don't have any experience with Tablet PCs (would like to, though :) but I disagree with Martin. 10% doesn't seem right to me. It of course depends on the price point: if it's cheaper for you to do your checking when the PCs come in and return the defective ones than it is to buy one where this checking is done at the manufacturer, then you just move this part of quality control from them to you...
