Updating this issue, I retried the test with another PIC16F84A and I=20
could program it with the blink-a-led example hex from Wouter=B4s site=20
using Xwisp. It looks like the other 84A was defective. I have not=20
tested again with the 16LF648A because I have not built the dongle. I=20
still cant read back the hex from the 84A, I keep getting weird=20
messages. At least I can now flash and test some stuff! Thank you all=20
