I'm assuming you don't have enough EEPROM in the PIC to store what you need? You can do this w/o LVP programming -- just use/create a PIC-to-PIC protocol and have the slave/storage PIC write to flash in regular code. Can't remember the specifics, but there is a bit on EECON1 that indicates whether you want to write to EEPROM or Flash data memory.
