Actually there is a noticeable difference in the falling edges in most
cases.  This is exactly what you'd expect.  The difference only looks
marginal in your pictures because they weren't set up well to look for the
effect, but it's still visible.  Particularly in the top pair, the scope
trace jumps from top to bottom on the left, but you can see the line on the
right.  The difference in dV/dt may be significant, which in turn could make
a significant difference in capacitive coupling to other signals or
radiation.
