See if you can find a copy of "Electronic Projects for Musicians" by Craig Anderton. From "Amsco Publications". It's a bit old, and the XR4739 op amps used are no longer available, but the circuits are still quite useful.. In particular, project #26 "Spluffer", might help you out. There used to be an online store that sold parts and PCBs for this book, but I don't recall their name right now. So I was thinking about this a bit more after David pushed me to consider a simple "Y" adapter, and I might have a problem. q The recording interface doesn't have mic preamps on every channel - it expects a line level signal. Ah well... I guess I'll have to think about this a bit more. I may end up having to get mic pres for each channel. I'm fairly certain anything I build will sound pretty crappy. More stuff to ponder....
