I would have to build an adapter [which I may do because I can get a lot of these in various frequencies]. Item #3 appears to be the winner. After looking at the schematic and what I had, I came up with a quick fix. I am posting a photo of my own 'quickie' solution. PLEASE NOTE THE RED ARROWS. If this works, it offers a very simple 4th alternative to ANYONE using the Sx-48/52 Protoboard. I just plug in two capacitors [30pf] and a crystal [4mhz] by using three of the sockets individually. The wiring is right, but I wonder about spreading oscilator component around. Will it in some way destablize their usefulness? ---------- End of Message ---------- You can view the post on-line at: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=7&p=1&m=86180#m86588 Need assistance?
