I think you'll find that PICkit is a Microchip trademark - apart from being confusing to use the same name, even if it's related in some way, you may find problems if you do! Speaking of confusing - I can't work out exactly what it is that you are talking about, and how it relates to Microchip's PICkits 1 and 2...
