It adds to the flexibility that I referred to in my previous post. It's just that I'd like to have a fixture or a container with some common items affixed to the board. They can even be attached by cables along the lines of your dwarf connectors. But having all those small boards loose and floating around is a nightmare scenario to me. I know I'll never be able to find the board that I need when I really need it. So what's wrong with a permanent fixture where everything is mounted? It's a whole lot more difficult to misplace one larger box/board than it is to misplace a dozen small boards.
