I dunno about simmsticks, that guy is in the opposite end of the globe.
But DB's are popular enough for me to continue with the concept.

IMHO simmsticks are too much to the 'less flexible' side of the
continuuum you decsribed, and Stef's boards perhaps too much to the
flexible side.
