I don't think the hobby industry in general is well served by having
"everyone" sell clones of the same microchip programmer, competing on
price until none of the vendors is happy with the profit they're making
on it.  Do something different: maybe a protoboard that looks like an
ICD2 to mplab (and has an an ICD connector going out, so that
it CAN be an ICD clone as well) or something like that.
