A NiMh (I'm talking about standard Ni-Mh which supply most of the cordless phones/ GSM, or standard electronic consumers) can be used for long time only with 0.5C per charge and maximum 0.8C for discharge. Everything out of these specifications are "tricks" which works but finally are killing the battery. Complete long time discharge-charge cycles are very good for Ni-MH and are called regeneration cycles. cheers, Vasile -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
