Well I think it's an oversight that no one came back onlist and
thanked James for that information.

OTOH it was informational. So there probably was no followup 
discussion because there was nothing to discuss.

BTW a 5 minute poke around Google for James' E-mail address makes
it pretty clear that he's a Linux guy. You are absolutely correct
that it's good to have guys like that on the inside.
