We have > the two dsPIC books (family manual and programmer's manual) even > we will never use them in our product. Likewise I have some 12F and 18F books, because at that time I did a lot (a lot of orders, probably a neglectible total nr of PICs) of PIC orderding via the local reseller. I switched to ByMicrochip (much cheaper!) so I don't think it is ethical to bugger my reseller any more. I could of course try the Microchip guy in my country. Yet another suggestion: Currently they don't allow datasheets to be reproduced on third-party CDs or otherwise. For third-world, low-speed-connected hobbyists is would be convenient to be allowed to distribute these on CDs, and for my students I would like to have for instnace the 16F688 datasheet as reader.
