Agreed. A dsPIC30F4011 consumes about 150mA during my testing of Daniel's bootloader at 32MIPS ( a bit over specification) without connecting to anything except the RS232 connection. Maybe need to wait for dsPIC33 for the low power consumption. But what is dsPIC33? I only know that it is a 3.3V part.
