Yes programming with ICD2 is okay in normal cases (without internal MCLR). With internal MCLR and internal RC OSC, programming with ICD2 becomes a problem as well (ICDWarn0033). That is why I am using PICkit 1 to program my 12F629. Okay I have a PM3 by my side as well from yesterday. :) Thanks for the correction.
