Hahahaha. It was never a tool to be enjoyed. If anything, it was a painful thing to use. But, for the those who did like it, it is there. I don't know why anyone would want to use it anymore than I know anyone that can truly say they cannot live without VI. Of course, edlin and VI are 2 worlds apart, but for the die hards, there are no replacements for either. It's kind of like that 1980's Ferrari 308 GTS I've got my eyes on (and one of theses days I'll get my balls together and buy it). There are plenty of better cars out there that I could want to by, but none of them compares to it.
