I'll stick to my (saturated solution of) Iodine, thanks. With those dwell times my Iodine solution is effective (my sources say), cheap (way less than USD 130) and reliable (no batteries). If the taste bothers me, I can add a few drops of Sodium Thiosulfate solution (making sure not to contaminate my purification container) and voila.
