Just download the attached zip file in the 2nd post in the Microchip Forum. The exe file fsusb.exe inside the zip archive is the one you want to use. http://forum.microchip.com/tm.asp?m=106426. You still need to install the filter driver of libusb-win32. To build this application, then you need to use MingW/MSys. Please refer to the readmewin32.txt inside the zip archive. By the way, I have since re-flashed the bootloader (actually the factory pre-loaded hex file) and un-install the libusb-win32 filter driver. I am now able to use Microchip application (using Microchip driver) as well as fsusb (using libusb-win32 device driver). You may want to try this as well (to reflash the bootloader using an ICD2). Subject: RE: [PIC] pb of device driver with the PIC18F4550 Hi, I am following your instructions and I've made the changes to fsusb-0.1.11. But I don't understand how to use MingW. Which file do I have to download? There are lots of files on the site! It's maybe easy but I don't know how to build in Win32. Thanks for help.
