Maybe "grind" the involution off.'. Squeeze wire between two paces of emery paper and pull it out? Else, maybe solder it without stripping. Place in a cup like a DB9 solder pin and put solder in cup also. See if that will make electrical connection. Crimp cup for mechanical connection. Maybe....
