At the bottom of this e-mail is an e-mail that I sent to Sensory Inc and a response. Sensory Inc. makes chips that provide voice recognition and voice synthesis. I want to develop ( or buy ) a headset that was optimized for one voice ( mine ) and had an optimized microphone input. This would be perhaps a contact microphone on the throat, or ???. The headset would communicate with the rest of the world wirelessly, using Bluetooth at this point since that is most popular but not limited to Bluetooth.. Infrared or ZigBee or Z-wave or Insteon are more possibilities. Responses to the headset would be via audio annunciation, voice response, beeps, tones, etc. These responses would be configured in the headset. This would be another way to personalize the headset. I imagine that these ideas have been patented. In the odd case they have not, consider this a public disclosure of my design idea. http://gus.calabreze.com/blog/index.php?blog=7 AGSC 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 To: bserpa@sensoryinc.com Date: Thu, 28 Jul 2005 18:55:57 -0600 Subject: looking for help with voice dependent recognition sensory inc. Hello Bruce Throw a few bones my way. You guys are supposed to be the most brilliant company when it comes to speech recognition. I want to build a headset with the best noise cancellation tech available and voice dependent input. The headset will convert voice commands to ASCII commands which bluetooth their way to devices that know what to do with the commands. I am aiming for high recognition accuracy. Output to user will be limited and very legible. Anybody doing this ? Any gurus doing this ? Is anyone using contact microphones or similar ?
