Free to a good home: Microchip PICMaster in-circuit emulator with "16D" probe (for 16C5x chips). Includes PC interface card, PC-to-PICMaster cable, an extra canned oscillator or two, and I'll even throw in a few UV-erasable PIC16C5x parts. No software included, but you can download it from Microchip's web site. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. The PICMaster is no longer supported by Microchip, and it hasn't been for a few years. This means that, while you can find probes for many of the older PICs for sale on Ebay or whatever, no probes exist for the newer flash parts, 18x parts, or the DSPics. 2. The interface card needs an ISA slot, which no new PCs have. At one time, a PCMCIA interface card was available from RF Solutions (I think) in England, but I don't know if they're even still in business. 3. The PICMaster software works only on 16-bit Windows, which means Win3.11, Win95, or Win98. Unless someone's hacked up a DLL for the more-recent operating systems, it won't work with NT, 2K, or XP. No charge for the emulator, but you pay shipping (preferably via Paypal, but I'll also take a check if it's in US Dollars). If you want the emulator, send a PRIVATE email to me at fastfwd@ix.netcom.com. Replies sent to the list will be ignored. -Andy === Andrew Warren - fastfwd@ix.netcom.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
