First post, and hopefully I've done enough background research and forum searching to avoid this being a dupe... =20 I've been looking around for the past few days trying to find a PIC with all three of the above: ADC (4 channel minimum), DAC, and UART on-chip. Unfortunately, the closest I can come is the PIC16C781/2 which don't have UART on-chip. So, it's looking like I'm going to have to code it somewhat blind, not having a good way of outputting debug info back to my computer. That's not to say it'll be impossible to code, just annoying since I'll have to use GPIO pins as debug flags... =20 So, hoping to avoid doing that, has anyone found a PIC hiding somewhere that actually has all of these components built in? Even after hours of trolling microchip's PIC lists, I've come up empty-handed. =20 The only caveat I have is that it has to come in a DIP package so that I can actually solder it by hand (also so it's flashable in a cheap device... looks like I'm going to probably get the ISP-PRO.) LQFP is just a wee bit tiny for me... =20 Thanks, David -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
