I missed part of the earlier conversation, but based on this message only, I suppose what you are looking for is a way to index some listings. 1)In openoffice, create a box or frame on one page. 2)Stick your program-listing inside the box, or frame. 3)Point at the frame/box so it is hi-lighted. Go to frame properties and give it a name so that you can index it. If you don't like a default black frame around your listing, then give the frame border colour = transparent or white so it will not show-up on the screen.
