I use the Dremel 395 with some surplus Tungsten Carbide bits I got from a local dealer. The shaft diameter of industry standard PCB bits is ideal for the Dremel. I'll agree though on the fact the Dremel Stand is a load of poo. Far too much play to be useful although I manage to use mine for drilling PCBs by keeping a firm grip on the stand to try and eliminate play in it. Does the job very well but hopefully I'll have finished building my 3 axis drilling machine in the not too distant future so this will take over the task for me. So, what are you guys using to drill PCBs? I've been looking at the Dremel 285VC and 395VR - is anyone using one of these to drill PCBs? Are they any good?
