I didn't get a reply from Peter (unfortunately), but it gave me the idea to direct this question to the wider PICList audience. What kind of software design aids do you use for your project? Perhaps you feel that it is not always necessary to have the design documentation before you start coding? I tend to draw most of my diagrams/flowcharts in CorelDraw (can't stand Visio), then copy them into a Word document, and add the text. It works, but somehow I feel there ought to be better tools for the job. Also, what do you guys think of UML?
