One of the things to watch out for is if windows is set up to show hidden and system filles which it WILL COPY when doing drag and drop file copying. If you drag from a ntfs to a fat32 even from root to root you could have these problems I verified this by creating c:\test\hiddenfolder and setting the hiddenfolder property's to hidden. then set explorer to hide hidden files (tools, folder options, view, files and folders, hidden files and folders, do not show hidden files and folders). Now drag the test folder to a different disk (or empty spot on the same disk) and make the hidden/system files visible again there will be a hiddenfolder in the copy of the test folder.
